Role Description: The Senior Sales Representative role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos State, Nigeria. In this role, the individual is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for Mixta Africa’s real estate and housing projects, managing a robust sales pipeline, and closing transactions with prospective clients and partners. Daily activities include generating and qualifying leads, conducting property presentations and site visits, preparing and negotiating proposals, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders. The Senior Sales Representative collaborates with marketing, finance, and project teams to ensure accurate information, timely documentation, and excellent customer experience. The role also involves monitoring market trends, reporting on sales performance, and contributing to strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth and support Mixta Africa’s community-building objectives.
Main Responsibilities
- Developing innovative sales strategies to achieve sales goals.
- Identifying potential customers through networking initiatives, cold-calling, and email communications
- Implementing Global Sales targets by setting personal sales targets with the line manager so as to achieve set targets.
- Provide Leadership support to direct reports (If any)
- Evaluate sales results and create sales reports for the Sales and Marketing Director
- Collect inquiries, complaints and customers and handle them appropriately.
- Coordinate with the legal and finance departments within the Group to ensure strict compliance to regulations (external and Internal)
- Conduct weekly and monthly reports to senior management on sales targets, enquiries and clients’ feedback.
- Ensure collections of sales proceeds in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist and support sales representatives as needed.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential and existing customers.
- Researching competitors’ products, pricing and product success and advising management on innovative measures to foster sales.
- Resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner to maintain customer loyalty.
- Supporting the commercial strategy team in working with PMIs to collaborate on home acquisition financing products for Mixta customers.
- Support the mortgage team in credit profiling and the development and application of a list of criteria that will allow Mixta to adequately profile and pre-qualify customers for alternative financing products, e.g., rent-to-own, housing solution fund, NHF, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), preferably majoring in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- 6-8 years of experience in real estate sales, especially in the domestic Market
- Certified Sales Professional (CSP) certification is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in real estate, housing, or infrastructure sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
