Showroom Customer Service Officer

Role Description The Showroom Customer Service Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Victoria Island, Lagos State, Nigeria. The role involves welcoming and engaging visitors in the showroom, identifying their needs, and providing clear information on products, features, and pricing. The officer will support customers through the selection process, prepare sales quotations, process orders, and coordinate with the sales and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery. Daily tasks include maintaining an organized and visually appealing showroom, handling customer inquiries and complaints, updating customer records, and following up to ensure satisfaction. The role also requires collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales targets and uphold AVN Global Ventures Limited’s standards of professional service.

Qualifications

• Strong EXCEL skill.
• Strong Interpersonal Skills to build rapport and communicate effectively with diverse customers and team members.
• Ability to drive Customer Satisfaction by understanding client needs, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive showroom experience.
• Experience in Customer Support and Customer Service, including managing inquiries, handling complaints, and providing product guidance.
• Capability to enhance Customer Experience through attentive service, product knowledge, and professional follow-up.
• Previous experience in retail, showroom operations, or sales, preferably in home décor, bathroom, sanitary wares, or lighting products.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in English required, additional local languages are an advantage.
• Basic computer literacy (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM or POS systems) and attention to detail in order processing and documentation.
• Minimum of a secondary school certificate; a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an added advantage.
• Proactive, professional attitude with reliability, integrity, and the ability to work weekends or extended hours when required.
