NIA Oyo State Chapter (NIAOYSC)

Remote
The Nigerian Institute of Architects Oyo State Chapter (NIAOYSC), is inviting interested members of the Chapter to volunteer their skills, experience, networks and time in support of the work of the Publicity & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Standing Committee.

The Committee is established to support the Chapter's visibility, communication, stakeholder engagement and social-impact objectives, with particular attention to:

Media relations and strategic publicity;
Digital presence and content creation;
Engagement across the 33 Local Government Areas of Oyo State;
Liaison and engagement with government, legislative and other public institutions;
Architecture-led Corporate Social Responsibility and community impact;
Institutional documentation and archiving;
Research, data, editorial and committee reporting; and
Publicity, communications and documentation support for Chapter events and campaigns.
About the Committee

The Publicity & CSR Committee is a Standing Committee of the NIAOYSC.

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is an elected Executive Officer of the Chapter and participates in the Committee by virtue of that elected office. Accordingly, this Volunteer Expression of Interest is intended primarily to identify other NIA Oyo members who are willing and able to contribute to the work of the Standing Committee.

Why are we asking members to volunteer?

The Committee's mandate cuts across several areas requiring different skills, professional experiences, networks and levels of involvement. This form will help us understand the capacities available within the Chapter and develop an effective working structure for delivering the Committee's responsibilities.

You may contribute as a member of a particular workstream, take responsibility for specific assignments or projects, provide specialist expertise, support events and campaigns, or contribute through your professional and institutional networks.

You do not need to have experience in every area. What matters is what you can contribute, where your interests lie, and the level of commitment you are able to make.

Your responses will therefore help us identify:

Your professional and technical skills;
Relevant experience and areas of expertise;
Media, government, institutional, LGA and community networks;
Areas of the Committee's work that interest you;
Your availability and preferred level of involvement; and
The types of responsibilities or assignments you would be willing to undertake.
Please note that submission of this form is an Expression of Interest and does not, by itself, constitute appointment to a specific role or workstream. Final working arrangements will be determined based on the Committee's mandate, members' capacities and the Chapter's organisational needs.

We encourage members from ALL MEMBERSHIP CADRES, who are willing to contribute meaningfully to complete the attached form thoughtfully and honestly.
