Salary: ₦600,000 – ₦800,000 Gross Monthly + Commission & Performance Bonus

OTE: ₦9M – ₦14M Annually

About The Company

HRLeverage Africa Consulting Limited is seeking an experienced Credit & Recovery Manager on behalf of our client to lead credit assessment, collections, recovery, and portfolio management.

Our client is a pharmacy credit infrastructure and pharmaceutical supply company serving retail pharmacies and pharmaceutical wholesalers across Nigeria. The business provides trade credit solutions that enables pharmacies to stock more inventory, grow sales and expand operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead recovery of an ageing overdue portfolio and drive cash recovery targets.
  • Reconcile and manage overdue accounts, including calls, field visits, demand letters, and legal escalation.
  • Assess new and repeat credit applications using bank statements, cash flow analysis, credit bureau data, and trade references.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and ensure timely escalation of overdue accounts.
  • Manage credit control and credit bureau reporting.
  • Supervise the Collections Officer and Data Entry Officer.
  • Prepare weekly recovery and monthly portfolio reports.
  • Develop and strengthen credit assessment and approval processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years' experience in credit, collections, recovery, or credit risk.
  • Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience in a similar environment.
  • Proven track record in recovering overdue credit facilities.
  • Strong SME credit assessment and financial analysis skills.
  • Experience with credit bureau reporting, preferably First Central CRB.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Yoruba proficiency is an advantage.
  • Must be based in Ibadan or willing to relocate.
  • Must currently be employed in a similar role.
