Job Overview
The Training Manager at Jawa International Limited is responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering training programs that build staff competence and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This role focuses on identifying training needs, developing structured learning plans, and maintaining accurate training records to support a skilled, compliant, and continuously improving workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify training needs across departments through skills gap analysis, performance reviews, and regulatory requirements.
- Design, plan, and deliver induction, GMP, safety, and role-specific training programs for staff at all levels.
- Develop and maintain training curricula, materials, and schedules in line with company and regulatory standards.
- In consultation with fuctional / department heads.
- Maintain accurate training records, attendance registers, and competency assessments for audit and regulatory purposes.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements to content and delivery methods.
- Support onboarding of new employees and ensure timely completion of mandatory training.
- Prepare periodic training reports for management and ensure readiness for regulatory audits and inspections.
Education:
- Sc./HND in Human Resources, Education, Social Sciences, Pharmacy, or related fields or post graduation.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a training or learning & development role, preferably within a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design, adult learning principles, and GMP training requirements.
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training schedules and records.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and learning management/record-keeping systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with staff across all levels of the organization.
- High level of integrity and reliability in maintaining training records.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong commitment to GMP, safety, and continuous learning.
- Proactive in identifying skills gaps and implementing training solutions.
