Warehouse Assistant

WE’RE HIRING: WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and physically fit Warehouse Assistant to support the daily organisation, cleanliness and movement of products within our warehouse.

This is a hands-on warehouse role, not an administrative or desk-based position.

Location: Ikota/VGC, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time, On-site

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with receiving and offloading incoming shipments.

• Move cartons and products safely within the warehouse.

• Arrange and store products in their designated locations.

• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe.

• Ensure display and picking shelves are neat and adequately stocked.

• Replenish products on shelves when required.

• Support the Inventory team with stock arrangement, movement and organisation.

• Assist with stock counts and report damaged, missing or incorrectly placed products.

• Keep warehouse walkways and storage areas clear and orderly.

• Clean and maintain assigned office and warehouse areas.

• Report damaged equipment, unsafe areas or facility problems promptly.

• Handle company products, equipment and supplies carefully.

• Assist with authorised errands and other reasonable operational duties.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stockroom, retail store, supermarket, logistics company or similar environment is preferred.

• Must be physically capable of lifting and moving cartons, standing for extended periods and performing active warehouse duties.

• Must be willing to clean and maintain warehouse and assigned office areas.

• Able to follow stock arrangement and safety instructions carefully.

• Punctual, honest, responsible and hardworking.

• Able to work cooperatively with the Warehouse, Inventory and Operations teams.

• Must live within reasonable commuting distance of Ikota/VGC, Lagos.
