About The Role

Oversee community-based grievance redress mechanisms, PSEAH compliance standards, and transformative gender empowerment across all operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage confidential reporting channels and grievance redress mechanisms across all project hubs.
  • Conduct comprehensive safeguarding onboarding and training for staff, contractors, and partner organizations.
  • Ensure gender-transformative indicators and safe space mechanisms are embedded in all project lifecycles.
  • Lead incident triage in strict accordance with the 24-hour / 48-hour mandatory escalation timeline.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Social Work, Human Rights, International Law, Gender Studies, or Development Studies.
  • 5+ years managing safeguarding, protection, or PSEAH systems in complex rural contexts.
  • Demonstrated confidentiality, emotional intelligence, and crisis management expertise.

Core Competencies

  • Systems Thinking: Ability to identify underlying market failures rather than addressing superficial symptoms.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Demonstrated success mentoring multidisciplinary field teams and local enterprise partners.
  • Data-Driven Adaptation: Skillful application of Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) findings for agile pivot decisions.
