The Role

• We are looking for a Finance & Accounts Associate to manage Jęuun’s day-to-day financial records, reporting, reconciliations, budgeting support, and financial tracking.
• You will work closely with the CEO and team leads to ensure the business has accurate numbers, clear visibility on performance, and strong financial controls.

What You Will Own

Day-to-Day Finance

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, supplier payments, and routine financial transactions
• Reconcile bank accounts, payment platforms, delivery platforms, and sales channels
• Track revenue, expenses, and cash position
• Maintain proper documentation for expenses and payments

Budgeting & Performance

• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets
• Track actual performance against budgets and financial targets
• Monitor departmental spending and operating costs
• Flag material variances and support follow-up with relevant teams
• Update financial forecasts as required

Reporting

• Prepare regular financial and management reports
• Track key metrics including revenue, gross margin, food cost, operating expenses, profitability, and cash flow
• Maintain clear financial dashboards and reporting schedules
• Support management with financial information required for decision-making

Cost & Cash Management

• Monitor food, packaging, logistics, labour, and operating costs against target
• Work with operations and supply chain teams to understand cost movements
• Maintain cash flow trackers and support payment planning
• Track outstanding receivables and supplier obligations

Compliance

• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation
• Support tax filings, audits, statutory payments, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisers where required

• Accuracy and timeliness of financial records
• Timely reconciliations and reporting
• Performance against budgets and cost targets
• Strong visibility into cash flow and financial position
• Accurate tracking of food and operating costs
• Timely supplier payments and receivables follow-up
• Quality and completeness of financial documentation

What We Are Looking For

• 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, or a related role
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Zoho Books, or similar
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
• Good organisation and follow-through
• Comfortable working with operational teams and understanding the numbers behind the business
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• ICAN, ACCA, or similar professional qualification in progress is an advantage
