By-Cast is the global market leader in air preheaters: equipment that recovers heat from flue gases and significantly improves the energy efficiency of industrial installations. Our solutions (cast iron, glass, and hybrid designs) are used in the petrochemical industry, power generation, waste processing, food production, and the metals industry.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Project Manager who combines technical expertise with strong project management skills.

Your Role

As Project Manager, you are responsible for the technical and organizational follow-up of projects, from order handover to final delivery. You combine project management with mechanical engineering. Design work is carried out in Autodesk Inventor within existing design standards. The main focus of the role is therefore not complex R&D, but the successful execution of projects within planning, budget, and quality requirements.

Coordinate projects from order intake to final delivery
Align technically with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
Develop and review mechanical designs in Autodesk Inventor
Follow up engineering, purchasing, production, inspections, and logistics
Organize and lead project meetings
Identify and manage project risks
Prepare technical documentation and progress reports
Provide technical support to the sales team during quotation and sales processes
Support improvements in design and project processes
Occasionally support installations, inspections, and commissioning activities worldwide

Project Manager Profile

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electromechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience in a technical project or engineering role.
You are structured, take ownership, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You have knowledge of Autodesk Inventor; experience with CFD simulations is an advantage.
You are fluent in Dutch and English.
You enjoy working in the office as well as occasional travel.
