Role Description The Videographer role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Abuja, with some flexibility for work from home. The Videographer will plan, shoot, and produce high-quality video content for a variety of brand and marketing projects, including commercials, social media content, corporate videos, and event coverage. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with creative and marketing teams to interpret project briefs, setting up cameras, lighting, and audio equipment, and capturing visually compelling footage. The role also involves organizing and maintaining equipment, managing media files, and working closely with editors and designers to ensure final outputs align with client expectations and brand guidelines. The Videographer is expected to contribute creative ideas, maintain consistent quality standards, and adapt to different shooting environments and timelines.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production, including planning, shooting, and coordinating video projects from concept to completion.
• Candidates should possess practical Camera Operation skills, with experience handling different types of Camera equipment and related accessories.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Shooting Video across various formats and settings, including studio, on-location, and live events.
• Candidates should possess solid Lighting skills, including setting up and adjusting lighting to achieve desired visual styles and image quality.
• Relevant additional qualifications such as video editing skills, familiarity with editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), and basic audio recording are beneficial.
• Strong creative judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to follow brand and visual guidelines are important.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with creative, marketing, and client teams.
• Previous experience in videography or multimedia production, and a portfolio showcasing completed projects, is highly advantageous.
