A Company situated in heart of Lagos with a FARM Division in Yewa North Area of Ogun State is in need of practically qualified and experienced personnel to fill the postion of an AN EXPERIENCED AGRONOMIST.

The ideal person will lead the team of the Agronomy/Crops plantation of the farm, must have experienced in Coconut planting, Palm fruit, Pineapple, Cassava Okro etc

Job Description And Responsibilities

Soil Testing: Collect and test soil samples to check nutrient levels, pH, and moisture.
Crop Management: Monitor plant health, manage crop rotation, and plan effective watering and fertilizer schedules.
Pest Control: Identify weeds, insects, and plant diseases early, and apply safe, integrated pest management solutions.
Farmer Training: Teach modern and sustainable farming methods to local farmers or smallholder groups.
Research and Data: Run field trials on new crop varieties or seed hybrids to see which ones perform best in local Nigerian climates

They should be ready to resume immediately with ability to work under pressure with little or no supervision

B.Agric./HND in Agronomy, Crop Protection, Crop and Environmental Protection, Crop Production Technology etc.
