Cone Group is a Lagos-based engineering and technology company serving corporate, industrial and public-sector clients across Nigeria, with nationwide coverage and a growing international presence. We deliver CCTV and surveillance, access control, biometric time attendance, electric fencing, smart home and office automation, solar inverters and backup power, fire detection and suppression, networking, IP PBX and intercom systems. We also provide RFID locks, boom barriers, parking management, PA and voice evacuation, nurse call, queue management, guard patrol monitoring, ICT hardware and software, training and general contracting. The Role

We’re looking for a creative, energetic and strategic professional to take ownership of our digital brand. You’ll shape how we tell our story online, showcase our engineering work and grow engagement across our platforms. You’ll work closely with our engineering, sales and management teams to capture live installations and turn technical solutions into clear, compelling content, while keeping everything consistent with our brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Content production: Design visual assets, shoot and edit short-form video (Reels, TikToks, feature clips), and write engaging captions that drive enquiries.
• Copywriting: Write clear, accurate content for social media, our website, blogs and marketing materials.
• Social media management: Manage, schedule and grow our channels on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, TikTok and YouTube.
• Content planning: Build and run a monthly content calendar tied to promotions, project milestones and industry trends.
• Paid campaigns: Run, monitor and refine paid social campaigns to generate qualified leads.
• Community engagement: Respond promptly and professionally to comments, messages and customer enquiries.
• Analytics and reporting: Track performance, prepare monthly reports and recommend improvements to our content strategy.
• On-site content: Work with technicians and engineers to capture client installations, product demos and company events.

Requirements

• At least 2 years’ experience in content creation, copywriting and social media management, with proof of previous work that can be verified online.
• Degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing, Mass Communication, English or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong skills in graphic design and video editing tools such as Canva, CapCut or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Good understanding of social media algorithms, paid advertising, SEO basics and analytics.
• Ability to turn technical information into simple, engaging content for different audiences.
• Excellent storytelling and written and spoken English.
• Creative, proactive and detail-oriented, and able to manage several projects at once.
• Must live on the Lagos Mainland and be able to work on-site.
