The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and technically sharp **Manager, Network Operations Centre** to own our 24/7 NOCC function within our Managed Network Services division. This is not a passive monitoring role — you will be building the systems, standards, and team culture that keep enterprise networks running at 99.9%+ availability across Nigeria.
You will report directly to the DCEO, Managed Network Services, and serve as the nerve centre for all network fault detection, incident resolution, ZTP provisioning, and service assurance across ipNX's growing MNS customer base.
What You Will Own
- 24/7 network monitoring and operations management across all MNS-deployed networks
- Incident management frameworks — escalation matrices, runbooks, and post-incident reviews
- Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) operations and configuration management
- Remote diagnostics — targeting 80%+ fault resolution without field dispatch
- SLA monitoring, reporting, and proactive breach prevention
- Automation initiatives and AI-assisted diagnostics for continuous improvement
- Team leadership — managing, mentoring, and developing Network Operations Engineers
Who We Are Looking For
Key Requirements — Professional Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecoms, or related field
- Minimum 7–10 years in network operations or NOC management — with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role
- Proven track record managing 24/7 operations environments with measurable SLA outcomes
- Demonstrated experience implementing or managing ZTP and automated provisioning systems
- Background in SLA management and customer-facing operations
Technical Competencies:
- At least ONE mandatory certification — **CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Security, ITIL v4 Foundation, or Fortinet NSE 4**
- Expert knowledge of IP networking, routing, switching, and advanced network troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with NMS platforms — PRTG, Zabbix, SolarWinds, or LibreNMS
- Strong understanding of Wi-Fi technologies, fibre optic networks, and wireless troubleshooting
- Familiarity with ticketing systems — ServiceNow, Freshservice, or equivalent
- Knowledge of ZTP platforms and controller-based architectures
Desirable: Cisco CCIE | ITIL v4 Intermediate/Expert | MikroTik MTCRE/MTCINE | CWNA | HDI Support Center Manager
