Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair water supply, drainage, wc, urinal bowls, water heater, kitchen sink and plumbing systems etc
- Troubleshoot leaks, blockages, low water pressure, and equipment malfunctions
- Inspect pipes, valves, fixtures, pumps, water heaters, and backflow-prevention devices
- Respond to maintenance requests and plumbing emergencies; prioritize work based on urgency
- Read blueprints, schematics, and work orders to plan repairs and installations
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, materials, and preventive maintenance
- Coordinate with facility staff and contractors during repairs, renovations, and shutdowns
- Follow plumbing codes, safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and infection-control rules where applicable
- Keep tools and work areas clean, organized, and secure
- Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to system reliability
- Trade test 1,2 & 3, or diploma
- Relevant plumbing experience; facilities or commercial-building experience preferred
- Valid plumbing license or certification where required
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, materials, and applicable codes
- Ability to read technical drawings and use diagnostic equipment
- Ability to lift and carry equipment, work in confined spaces, and respond to emergencies
- Strong knowledge of pumps, swage and water treatment plant, swimming pool
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and recordkeeping skills
