- Statutory compliance: Ensure timely filing of VAT, WHT, PAYE, CIT, and other regulatory obligations; liaise with FIRS, state tax authorities, auditors, and pension administrators.
- Internal controls: Design and enforce financial controls covering procurement, inventory, payments, rider maintenance budgets, and cashless reconciliation.
- Budgeting and forecasting: Lead the group budgeting process, prepare cash-flow forecasts, and analyse variances.
- Management reporting: Produce monthly management accounts with variance analysis and actionable insights for the CEO and Head of Operations.
- Payroll and statutory deductions: Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate PAYE, pension, and NHF remittances.
- Audit coordination: Serve as primary liaison for external auditors and regulatory inspections.
- Cost control: Monitor food cost, labour cost, delivery cost, and maintenance spend; identify savings without compromising quality.
- Team leadership: Supervise account officers across locations and build financial discipline in branch teams.
