We are looking for a Technical Product Manager with a minimum of 5 years managing firmware lifecycles, OEM relationships, or deployed networking device portfolios. You have fewer than 5 years of experience in networking engineering, technical product management, or technical vendor management
You have no experience managing firmware releases, OEM support arrangements, or network device lifecycle governance
The Role
ipNX X-iCE Division is hiring a Technical Product Manager to own the full lifecycle of its networking and smart home product portfolio — access points, Wi-Fi mesh systems, routers, and connected devices. You will coordinate OEMs and engineering partners on firmware releases, security updates, and product improvements while protecting customer experience and product reliability.
You Must Have:
BSc/BEng/BTech in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecoms, Computer Science, or related discipline
Practical knowledge of Wi-Fi access points, routers, mesh networking, LAN/WAN fundamentals, and network troubleshooting
Demonstrated experience with firmware lifecycle management, vulnerability management, and secure update practices
Ability to create test plans, technical specifications, release notes, incident reports, and lifecycle dashboards
Experience managing OEM and outsourced engineering partner relationships with defined SLAs and escalation paths
Added Advantage: Familiarity with Linux-based embedded systems, OpenWrt, SNMP, TR-069/TR-369 | CCNA or equivalent certification | Experience with cybersecurity vulnerability management
