Nsibidi Academy is reimagining technology education in Africa. Our mission is to empower African youth to become creators, innovators, and owners of emerging technologies through our Cognition, Coding & Creation framework.

We are building an AI-first learning ecosystem at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, robotics, coding, and African cultural heritage.

The Role

We are seeking a visionary and technology-driven Chief Education Officer (CEdO) to lead our educational strategy, curriculum development, and learning innovation.

The successful candidate will drive the development of future-ready learning programmes, oversee our Study Genius Centres, and build a team of Coach/Mentors to nurture the next generation of African technology innovators.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement curricula across AI, robotics, coding, and digital creativity.
• Drive AI-powered, adaptive, and project-based learning.
• Integrate African languages, culture, and indigenous knowledge into technology education.
• Establish global certification pathways through Google, Microsoft, and Anthropic.
• Oversee the launch and management of Study Genius Centres.
• Build and develop a high-performing team of Coach/Mentors.
• Strengthen strategic partnerships, including our 3MTT initiative.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in technical education, curriculum development, or educational leadership.
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Mechatronics, EdTech, or a related field.
• Practical knowledge of Python, Blender, AI tools, or related technologies.
• Experience in innovative, adaptive, and project-based learning.
• Strong strategic leadership, communication, and execution skills.
• Relevant industry certifications and familiarity with African language technologies are added advantages.
